Bibles:
We receive numerous requests for the location of Bible versions for purchase. We do not purchase or sell Bibles. This site only gives a general introduction to the various versions that have been printed. You may attempt to contact the publisher of a particular version, if that version is listed on our links page. If you cannot obtain the desired version at a Bible bookstore, check for it at a large used-book store and through a book search engine on the Internet. A useful URL is Bibliomania. This one lists several good book search engines that you can check. Some versions are readily available, others take time to appear in a book store, while some are simply no longer available. Please be patient with your search.
Pets and Animals / Los Animales / Les Animaux:
Although we have posted information about various species of animals, common and uncommon, we are not animal dealers nor experts in this field. We will not be of much help with your questions about a specific kind of animal, except maybe to direct you someplace else. We understand that it can be frustrating to locate sources of information about any given topic, and this one is no exception.
Hotel Software / Software Hotelero / Le Logiciel d'Hôtel:
The freeware hotel program is no longer available. You won't find a copy of it here. There exists a previous version (v 2.0) that still can be found on a few other servers, but it has a few minor bugs. However for the moment, we have no intention to revive this project.

Are you a former Royal Canadian Navy nursing sister who served at HMCS Cornwallis, in Nova Scotia, in the autumn of 1953? Do you know someone who was? I am in the process of compiling a book which tells the stories of Canadian military personnel from 1939 to the present.
HMCS Waskesiu:
Are you a veteran of this World War II frigate? Was someone in your family one? I am in the process of updating our book Waskesiu: Canada's First Frigate.
Canadian Armed Forces Veterans:
Are you a Canadian who served in the Korean War, the Vietnamese War, or in peacekeeping missions in Cyprus, Gaza, East Africa, or the former Yugoslavia? I would like to make contact for inclusion in the book mentioned under Nursing Sisters.
Normal School:
Did you know the late Isabel Lepesko, a former Normalite student who was in Class E at Manitoba Provincial Normal School, in Winnipeg, during the 1950-1951 school year? Do you know when, where, and how she passed away? I was a Normalite of that year.
