Parliament
Parliament is bicameral and is located in Brazzaville.
The National Assembly has 125 members, who are elected to five-year terms by popular vote. The Senate has 60 members, who are elected bto six-year terms by popular vote. In 1998, the National Assembly was replaced by the National Reconciliation Forum of 75 members, a transitional advisory parliament.
